Corporate Governance Forum

The Forum "Relationship between Chairman and CEOs: An Exploration Starting off from the KCRC Case" ["公司主席與行政總裁的關係——從九鐡事件談起"] jointly organized with the Centre for Corporate Governance and Financial Policy (CCGFP) of the Hong Kong Baptist University School of Business was held on April 22 as scheduled. Turn-up was overwhelming, with over 200 attending, including undergraduates and alumni of HKBU, students currently pursuing the MSc in Corporate Governance and Directorship of the University, IIM members and guests from all industries. Presentations were rich and tightly packed, and the Q&A session that followed had to overrun due to high enthusiasm from the audience in sharing their experiences and views as well as raising queries to the panel. Under the capable moderation of Prof Simon Ho, Dean of School of Business, HKBU, the forum audience gained the maximum knowledge sharing within the time constraints. The event finally was concluded near 5 p.m. (almost an hour over-run), with a souvenir presentation ceremony officiated by Prof Simon Ho (representing HKBU) and Alfred Ho, our Deputy Chairman (representing IIM).
